Plain English: You pay nothing during the trial. At the end, you pick one of three options that are priced in the contract before we start. Your domain is always yours. If you walk away, we take the site down — no fees, no lock-in.
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by MoreJobsLocal ("we," "us," "our") at morejobslocal.com. By engaging our services, signing a service agreement, or using this website, you ("Client," "you") accept these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business.
2. Our services
We provide AI-first website builds, local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, schema markup, Google Maps grid-rank tracking, and ongoing AI-search visibility work. Specific deliverables are defined in your individual Service Agreement and Statement of Work ("SOW"). Where these Terms conflict with your SOW, the SOW controls.
3. The free trial
- The trial period begins when your new site goes live and runs for 90 days, extendable to 180 days by mutual agreement.
- During the trial we cover build, schema, hosting, GBP optimization, and reporting at our cost.
- No payment is due during the trial. We do not take a credit card on file.
- We capture a baseline before work begins and publish a written before/after report at day 90.
4. Options at end of trial
At the end of the trial you will choose one of three options, each with the price fixed in your SOW from day one:
- Option A — Subscribe. From $2,000/year (exact figure in your SOW). Includes hosting, reviews carousel, quarterly grid-rank reports, schema maintenance, 5 SEO blog posts/year, 12 GBP posts/year, and minor content updates (~2 hrs/month). 30 days' written notice before renewal to cancel.
- Option B — Buy the site outright. $1,000 per approved page (SOW scopes pages upfront), plus optional $500 legal-page bundle. On payment, we transfer all files, code, and schema to you. Ongoing services end with transfer.
- Option C — Walk away. $0. We take the site offline within 30 days. Your domain, analytics, and GBP remain yours. No transfer fee, exit fee, or renegotiation.
5. Pricing & payment
- All prices are stated in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless your SOW states otherwise. Clients outside Canada may be billed in USD, EUR, or GBP by agreement.
- Applicable taxes (HST, GST, VAT, sales tax) are added at checkout where required.
- Invoices are issued on the effective date of your chosen option. Payment is due within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
- Annual subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal date.
- Late payments may be subject to 1.5% monthly interest and suspension of services after 15 days' notice.
6. Ownership & intellectual property
- Your content always. Domain names, photos, text, logos, trademarks, and customer data you provide to us remain your property.
- Our IP during trial/subscription. Website code, design files, proprietary schema templates, and hosting configuration remain our intellectual property while we operate the site on your behalf.
- Transferable on buyout. Option B transfers full ownership of the website package — files, code, and applied schema — to you.
- Our generalised know-how (processes, internal tools, anonymised performance benchmarks) remains ours and may be used to improve services for other clients.
- Public portfolio. We may list you as a client and reference anonymised performance metrics in marketing, unless you opt out in writing.
7. Your obligations
To deliver effectively, we need you to:
- Provide accurate business details, photos, and content in a timely manner.
- Grant us read/edit access to your Google Business Profile, Search Console, and Analytics during the engagement.
- Review and approve drafts within reasonable turnaround windows (typically 3–5 business days). Extended delays may push your trial end date.
- Not ask us to publish content that is false, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
- Maintain the ownership and active status of your domain name and business listings.
8. Our obligations
- Build and maintain your site using current best practices for AI search, local SEO, and accessibility.
- Provide a written baseline and before/after report during the trial.
- Communicate clearly about timelines, scope changes, and anything that would materially affect results.
- Honour cancellation and data-deletion requests per these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
9. No guarantee of rankings
Search rankings and AI citations depend on factors outside any agency's control — Google's algorithm, competitor activity, review velocity, seasonal demand, and more. We do not guarantee any specific ranking, citation, lead volume, or revenue outcome. What we do guarantee is a documented playbook, a baseline measurement, and a transparent before/after report at the end of the trial. Option C exists precisely because results can't be promised.
10. Cancellation & termination
- During trial — either party may end with 14 days' written notice. We remove the site within 30 days of termination.
- Annual subscription — cancellable with 30 days' written notice before renewal. Mid-term cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law.
- For cause — either party may terminate immediately for material breach not cured within 14 days of written notice.
- Effect of termination — we stop billing, remove the live site, hand over analytics history, and delete your remaining data on request (subject to §8 of our Privacy Policy).
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms or our services will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $1,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost opportunity, even if advised of the possibility.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from (a) content you provide that infringes another party's rights, (b) your use of our services in violation of law, or (c) your breach of these Terms. We will promptly notify you of any such claim and cooperate in the defense.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, under the ADR Institute of Canada rules, or, at either party's option for claims under CAD $35,000, to the Small Claims Court of Ontario. Consumers in jurisdictions where mandatory local law grants additional protections retain those rights.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and by a revised "Last updated" date above. Changes apply going forward. If you don't agree, your remedy is to stop using our services; existing SOWs remain governed by the Terms in effect when they were signed, unless we mutually agree otherwise.
